Litter Pick on 24 October

Community Litter Pick

Saturday 24th October at 2pm

Linton Parish Council is running a Community Litter Pick on Saturday 24th October.

 

Everyone is welcome and there will be routes suitable for all.

Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

 

WHERE DO I GO?

There are 3 starting hubs at:

Gorsley Village Hall

Bromsash, Castrees Nursery

Linton, ‘Wrens Nest’ (by village hall junction)

 

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

There is limited parking at Gorsley Village Hall only.

 

WHAT TIME DO I ARRIVE AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

The event runs from 2pm until 5pm. Please arrive ready to start around 2pm to ensure you have time to complete a designated route and return to your starting hub for refreshments (free for all litter pickers) before 4pm.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

You will be provided with a litter picking stick, plastic bags, hi-viz jacket and gloves. If you prefer to wear your own gloves, please bring a pair. We recommend that you wear stout, comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Further briefing on what to pick up and what to leave behind will be provided on the day.
