Ross-on-Wye Policing Facebook page

Ross-on- Wye Policing now has a more local Facebook page called Ross-on-Wye and Golden Valley.  They will post various articles here that relate to policing and also advertise events such as bike marking and pop up police stations in the area. Until now the Facebook page was shared with the whole of Herefordshire.

This will run alongside Neighbourhood Matters as the contents won’t be exactly the same and not everybody uses Facebook.

Greener Living Show – help requested

Greener Living Show

Can you help us?

1-4pm Saturday 18th October
at Gorsley Baptist Hall

Many of you expressed your sadness when we closed the door on our recycling and sustainability café, and we told you to watch this space. Now with the announcement of our latest venture: The Greener Living Show, we are hoping that you will also join in!

We are looking for help in 2 ways:

  1. Publicity

  2. Help on the Day

Publicity

Please could you forward on our email advertising the Greener Living Show to as many of your local friends, family and colleagues as possible and encourage them to come along. Maybe you belong to a Facebook or WhatsApp group who would be interested to hear about the show.

If you would like to help more with publicising the show, we are looking for volunteers to help us distribute fliers to shops, cafes, garden centres etc in Newent, Ross, Mitcheldean and Ledbury and the surrounding villages. Perhaps you have a suitable notice board near where you live where you could put up a poster.

Help on the Day

If you would like to help on the day of the show, we would be delighted as there will be lots of things to do from putting out tables and chairs and pointing visitors in the direction of the car park, to being a welcoming face, keeping the exhibitors supplied with tea and putting the tables and chairs away again afterwards.

Of course, coming along to the show is also an important way to help and we hope you will find it an informative and enjoyable afternoon!
