Review of Polling Districts, Polling Places & Polling Stations

Notice is hereby given that Herefordshire Council is conducting a review of polling districts and polling places within its area.
As part of this review, the Returning Officer will also make comment on proposed polling stations.
Once the authority’s proposals and Returning Officer’s representations have been published, Herefordshire District Council and the Returning Officer will welcome representations and comments from any elector within Herefordshire or any person or organisation with expertise in access for persons with disabilities.
Any person or organisation making comments or representations should, if possible give alternative places that may be used as polling places.
The documents for the review may be inspected at The Electoral Services Office, The Town Hall, St Owen Street, Hereford, HR1 2PJ during office hours. Information is also available on the council website at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/pollingreview
Representations should be made either using the online consultation facility or in writing either to The Electoral Services Office at the above address or via email to elections@herefordshire.gov.uk and should be received by 5:00pm on 23 September 2019.
Timetable for review

 Proposals and Representations for new polling districts, polling places and polling stations published on 15th July 2019.
Consultation stage from 15th July 2019 to 23 September 2019.
 Council decision on new polling districts, polling places and polling stations on October 2019.
 Publication of Register of Electors 2019/20 on 1 December 2019.
 New electoral arrangements come into force on 1 December 2019.
