Gardeners’ Question Time Recording in Ledbury
BBC Radio 4 Gardeners’ Question Time will be recording two programmes in Ledbury on Monday July 23rd. The production team responded to an invitation from Ledbury Allotment Association to come to the town as part of the Association’s 10th anniversary celebrations of starting to grow fruit and vegetables on their site in Burton’s Lane, Wellington Heath.
The recording will take place in the Community Hall, Lawnside Road. Doors open for the audience at 5:30pm and recording starts at 6:15pm. The programmes will be aired on BBC Radio 4 on Friday July 27th at 3pm (with a repeat on Sunday 29th July at 2pm) and Friday 4th August with a repeat two days later.
Tickets cost £4.50 each and can be obtained from Number One Sandwich Bar in Bye Street. The price includes a glass of fizz or non-alcoholic drink.
If you have a question for the panel, there is an appropriate form with the ticket to complete. Questions should be handed in on arrival at the Community Hall and a selection made just before recording starts of those that will be included in the programme. This doesn’t give panel members much time to prepare their answers!
A spokesman for Ledbury Allotment Association said “We feel very honoured that the Gardeners’ Question Time panel wanted to join us in Ledbury. We hope the event will be supported by the town and that people will bring lots of interesting questions for the panel.”
