Severn Trent Water announced plans to close the B4215 for a considerable period from this Spring to undertake laying new mains water pipes down the centre of the road
This will mean severe disruption to travellers and an open meeting was called to discuss the issue Notes of that meeting can be found HERE (pdf)
To contact the action group direct please email: email@example.com
Here are the minutes from the meeting at the Memorial Hall in PDF format. If you cannot read this document, please let me know and I will fnd you another format. For privacy reasons we have not given the full names of those who spoke except the politicians who we think are happy to be publicised!
Also, a number of the email addresses given on Tuesday were quite difficult to decipher, so please ask your friends who came if they have received this message. If they have not, please get them to email us at this address and we will correct our records or add them to the list.
You will be pleased to know that as a result of this meeting, a further discussion has been arranged between Severn Trent and two of us to go through the points which have been raised and find some alternatives to the current scheme. This would not have happened if we had just sat back and left it to others! I think that point came across loud and clear at the meeting.
Meanwhile, for those people who have been or plan to be in direct contact with Severn Trent Water, it would be very helpful if you were willing copy any correspondence to the newentb4215 email address above, so we can keep track of answers and chase up if assurances are not adhered to!
Thank you for your interest. We will keep you updated.
